Is your cushion production ready for a FIRA audit ?
A structured self-assessment built around the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 and the FIRA flammability testing scope. Build the evidence pack one fabric at a time — each fabric (code + colour) carries its own 24-checkpoint record and lists the ranges it appears in.

Why this matters
According to LOFA, 8 out of 10 garden furniture cushions sold on the UK high street have historically failed the government's Fire Safety Standard. The LOFA Assured scheme exists so members can prove they are not in that 80%.
- • Covers must be match-resistant (BS 5852 Source 1)
- • Fillings must meet ignition requirements
- • Composite assemblies must pass the cigarette test
- • First UK supplier must keep records for 5 years
How it actually works
Fabric-led, range-aware
Fire-safety compliance lives at the fabric level, not the product range level. Each test certificate is issued for a specific code + colour pairing — so the same fabric used across ten ranges only needs one evidence pack, not ten.
Set up your ranges once, then add each fabric and tick which ranges it appears in. Each fabric is rated independently and rolled up into an overall readiness score.
